Boo Boo at new work place

haha...only 3rd week at the new work place I already made a boo-boo mistake. Mail out letters with other applicant name on the reverse side of the rejection letter.....pray that no one complaint to my big boss......but 1 of my colleague who assist me was very sure it did not happened...and everything were in order.

I was recapping with Yvonne how much I have complained and nagged regarding this new work. Since day 1 till now (9 June to 27 June), without fail, I would said something unhappy about the current job, environment, etc. The last job I had the same experienced was in VFC.
Perhaps I was comparing it with my previous work place, which was in a way, better organised for the company future advancements....at least to me.....

Maybe, it's time for me to move on again....really need God calling, strength and grace if I need to go through what I went through while in VFC (2 yrs plus)......And for Yvonne too.......

MY wife

My wife's new hairdo from Melaka.... I think she looks pretty and very refreshing....don't you think so?

2 Weeks Into My Work

The last 2 weeks has been somewhat busy and bored.....I guess, due to my fore knowledge of admission, I was put to task almost immediately.

However, the kaki 'grouping' are rather strong there....till now I still had lunch alone most of the time. I have 'dated' old colleagues, frenz and even nephew for lunches.....now coming 3rd week.....sigh.......

Good thing I have my beloved wife and son. After a day of stressful and boring works, I really enjoyed the time with them...And of course, serving the Lord in ministries. Praise be the Lord!

Started My New Job

Today is my 3rd day at my new work place, NUS Office of Admissions. The 1st day was a very exciting and joyous day...why? Not only because I started my new job but also Joanna gave birth to little Justin. What a joy!

Back to my work, 1st day and I have quite a fair bit of stuff to do already. Unlike others 1st day, I was kept busy throughout the day.... : o )

As for people wise, I guess I need some times to get to know them. Got to know this guy Jason (same age with me) from another faculty through my 'buddy' in office...so slowly but surely trying to know more people.....

I also want to take this opportunity to thank God for His provisions. He has indeed glorified Himself thru this incident. And not to forget the encouragement and assurance of my beloved wife and the prayer of Nathan (cos he want money to buy toys).

Illegal Parking During Prayer Time at Mosque

Pass by a mosque near Vivio City during prayer time on Friday....my goodness, the people attending the prayer parked their vehicles all over the main road, even the bus lane. I thought it was the mosque near my house that had this problem. There was once the cars parked along the road that the bus got to stop at the outer lane, causing a old lady fell while alighting the bus.

Now, I realised that it was not a problem only at my area but all over.....shouldn't the mosque authorities advise their people to park their vehicles without breaking the law. On one hand, going to prayer, on the other, breaking rules and law......causing danger to others road users....

My wife than reminded me that we once saw on Sunday at Expo, the Christians also parked along the road....but was inside the industrial area......not sure if it is breaking any laws....

Got Lost Again

I got lost again last night on my way to a wake at Sengkang. This was like my 3rd or 4th times there and yet still got lost. First, missed the express way exit, made a u-turn at Yishun; than somehow not able to locate blk 260, so got on a spinning spell.... : o (
Finally got there, and thank God...ON TIME to do the interpretation for the wake service.

Oh, while on my way to Sengkang, I drove passed CTE....it was smooth and easy traffic.....thought it would be jammed....Only later did I realised that there are 2 ERP gantries I have to pass thru driving toward Yio Chu Kang. It costs a total of $3....can you imagine if I would have to pass thru these gantries 20 days in a month.....20days x $3 = $60 just for heading back home.....

Melaka Trip

We drove up to Melaka last Wednesday. The drive was smooth with occasional rain. We set off at about 9 plus am and reached at the hotel about 12 plus.

I enjoyed the trip very much. Yvonne and Nathan were also very excited and happy in this trip.

Nathan bought like 3 toys, 1 watch and 2 t-shirts; Yvonne had her hair done, bought contact lenses and 1 watch, I bought 2 singlets, 1 shirt, a pair (thanks Jo for the correction) of slipper and shoe.....hehehe...looks like i bought the most....

Above all those eating and shopping....I really enjoy spending time with Yvonne and Nathan. I really love them both.....It's always a blessing to be able to spent time with my wife and seeing her happy....and seeing my son enjoying himself.....

Will post up the pics at a later time.....

Need to go do housework now.....will start work only on 9 June
