Is it too late for a Christmas wish?

If you are like me, late in making a Christmas wish or even think is pointless to make an empty wish…..think again…..

The bible said “Faith is the substances of things hope for but evidences of things unseen”. And “without faith, it is impossible to please God”.

In other words, we need to have hope first before our faith can rise up. Without hope, there will be no faith.

One of the hopes (wish) is to see more people attending Care group. If in the beginning, I have never hope for it, than how can I said I have the faith to believe that more people will attend? It is when I hope for it, than faith can begins. We then nurture the faith thru prayers and of course believing in the character and Word of God. Thru prayer, we draw close to God, hear His voice, and know His will; our faith will then build up.
We than see His promises (what our hope hinge to) fulfilled.

Well, it’s not too late to make wish still……….there is always Chinese New Year wishes…..

Will You Drink From the Jar or the Well ?

"No eye has seen, no ear has heard, no mind has conceived what God has prepared for those who love Him"

Many years ago, a weary traveler hiked for miles across the desert with the hot sun beating on his back. His water supply was gone, and he knew that if he didn't find water soon to quench his thirst, he would surely die.
In the distance, he spotted a deserted cabin which brought hope that maybe water was to be found there. he made his way to the cabin and discovered an old well. He frantically pumped the handle of the well to draw water, but all that came from the pump was dust.
Then he noticed a tin can tied to the pump, with a note inside. The note said:

Dear stranger:
This pump is all right as of June 1968, I put a new sucker washer in it, and it should last for quite a few years. But the washer dries out and the pump needs to be primed. Under the white rock, I buried a jar of water, out of the sun and corked up. There's enough water in it to prime the pump, but not if you drink some first. Pour 1/4 of the water into the pump and let her soak for a minute to wet the leather washer. Than pour the rest medium fast and pump hard. You'll get water. Have faith. The well has never run dry.
When you get watered up, fill the bottle and put it back as you found it for the next stranger who comes this way.

Would you have faith to pour the jar of water into the well as the note instructed?

If we are so certain, sure, know what is going to happen........than there is no need of faith. Without faith it is impossible to please God.

Sorrows of life = Source of life's enlargement?

Thou has enlarged me when I was in distress

Do not say the darkness of prison has shackled you, for your shackles are wings, wings of flight into the arms of God, into the heart and soul of humanity. God has enlarged you through the suffering of sorrow's chain.

If Joseph had never been Egypt's prisoner, he would have never been Egypt's governor. The iron chain that bounded him laid there on the dust; replacing was the golden chain around his neck.

**Gold is partial to only a few, but iron is universal.

Taking Risk

Taking risk enable us to experience God's factor?

I think I fully agreed with this statement. Without taking that step of faith we will never know and experienced the deliverance of the Almighty King. It's is until we launched into the unknown, completely clueless and helpless, we will never be able to know what is going to happen......

Kind of like, you like a gal.......but not sure if she is is ok with you. Well, you wouldn't know till you ask the magic question, "will you be my gal frenz? ". The only diff is that in this case, a 'No' will be both
embrassing and hurting. But in God's kingdom, yes or no, He will brings comfort in all situations.
