Karen Joining Andrew at Doha

Most of us reached Singapore Changi Airport at about 11.30pm to bid bon voyage to our dearest Karen…err..she wasn’t at the airport till about 12midnight!!!

Lots of people were there,

care group
,

peers (old youth), Eng Soon and Denise,

some ex-youth(now working and getting married)
,

Pastor Danny & Sis Hazel

Johnny and Karin

A much bigger group than Andrew…….haha Andrew, are you jealous?

And our miss "blur"…her luggages were grossly overweight. At the end, the airline was graciously allowed 40kgs instead of 25kgs. And yet Karen had to repack and removed all her Korean DVDs and 2 ACCA books…yup ACCA books….

Going to miss you both, Andrew & Karen…..

NTU Bonus!!!!

Another sad story...NTU only giving 1 month bonus, while our main "counter part" NUS is giving 3 months bonuses. And most governments, stat boards, most private sectors, etc are all giving more than 1 month.....

According to The Straits Times today, only manufacturing sector is giving 1 month bonus...so NTU is giving similar to manufacturing sectors...is this a sign that NTU is now lacking behind in performance? Or is NTU lagging behind just like the manufacturing sector....outdated?

so lack of motivation to work now.....hahaha

Karen Leaving for Doha

Am so sad, yet happy....sad because I will miss Karen, she had brought forward her flight from 21 Dec to 18 Dec. Happy..for Andrew lor, finally his wife is joining him in the land of richness, DoHa.

To be frank, I really miss Andrew. And now with Karen joining him there...it feel like some parts of my live seems to be missing. Maybe, after all these years with Andrew and Karen, they are already part of my family. sob sob sob.....

Pastor Jude

Pastor Jude was preaching this morning. While his last visit was almost 10 years ago, things that happened than are still fresh in our mind.

He was the one that prayed for Andrew 10 yrs ago, and Andrew did some pretty amazing thing.. His prophecies for me had impacted me to go beyond and enter into full time ministry. His anointing and passion for the younger in the Lord have remained in me through out all these years. And it was in that church camp, many young lives have been changed. And in that camp, I learned what prayer and prophecies were about; it's changing lives for Jesus....

Thank you Jesus for a pastor such as Ps Jude.

Child Care Day

For those who have read Yvonne's blog first would have know yesterday the ladies had a farewell high tea for Karen at Allson Hotel. As for me, I had a great time with Nathan and Chancey (Mabel's son, Nathan's favorite boy). *Karen is Yvonne buddy, while Karen's husband Andrew is a great buddy of my. Andrew if you are reading, I miss u....

Chancey is a very cute and good boy, despite a little too active...but hor, I managed to 'hold' him down for around 20mins sitting on and without leaving the sofa....hahaha...I scolded him for jumping from table to chair, chair to table...he is actually very agile...

And seeing Nathan taking care and instructing Chancey made me realized he has grown up...Nathan is a big boy now!!!! I was amazed at my son ability to take care and lead....

Nathan's Christmas Gift

Bought this game last Saturday at Bugis. Told Nathan he can only open it on Christmas. And here's the conversation later that day and 2 days ago.

After buying
Dad : Nathan, can only open it up on Christmas day.
Son : Okie, but can I test it later at home..must see if it is working..

Son : It's not fair..cannot open now..
Dad : Wat's not fair?
Son : Can only open it on Christmas, but look (pointed to the calendar), it's 25th and I only have a short time before school starts.....

Shopping

2nd times in Bugis Junction in less than 2 weeks. 1st time was to renew my road tax at Income. 2nd time, last Saturday, went there to shop and have dinner. Nathan sheepily asked to have Jap food for dinner….of course, we said “NO”. Been trying to cut down on fine dinning…hahaha….so we had dinner at Food Junction at level 3.
After dinner, we had a walk at Elizabeth Walk , the Singapore “Durian” and had a drink at one of the cafĂ©…..

Hair, Face and Body

Bought many things last weekend, my shower gel…they were on sales “ buy 2 get 1 free”. This shower gel uses only pure essential oils, no artificial fragrances...

Some facial products, trying this new range out. Have been using Body Shop Tea Tree facial wash for a long time. It’s good to change once in a while…

Hair care products; hair shampoo and tonic. I remembered years back, I had this “loosing hair” time, and after using this, no more problem. Than switched back to normal hair shampoo…and hair loss again. Decided that at my age, hair lost is not a joking matter, I quickly asked my sis-in-law for her shampoo. Hee, hee…it’s under control again… Oh, I get these free from my sis-in-law, it’s her products. If not, it’s $30 per bottle leh (but can used for like months). If you don't mind the packaging, it's a great product!

My Workstation

My frenz had hardly a chance to see my workstation, so here's some pic of my "hide-out". It's rite at the back near drop-down windows, with a open carpark view, lots of greenery : o )

Oh , this is Willy's workstation, he is right next to me....he has lots of small potted indoor plants..and he is a Jay Chou craz....hahaha
