Happy Birthday 3

The night of 6 October 2009. My son and Yvonne surprised me with a Ben &Jerry ice-cream. They even sang a birthday song to me. Felt so blessed by my Father in heaven.

On 7 October, my actual birthday, In the morning, Yvonne and I went Queensway Shopping Centre to alter my pant. While waiting for the pants is ready, we combed the shopping centre I once was familiar with. Yvonne commended that they sell mainly young men clothing and sports apparel. We also went Zhou Kitchen at Anchorage for our lunch. Both food and services were ok only, I expected a higher standard from Tung Lok Group leh....

After collecting the pant, we proceeded to Orcahrd Hotel to park the car since we have complimentary parking coupon (Eng Wee's wedding rehearsal was there in the evening). After that was shopping and more shopping....

We decided to eat at Tony Romas for dinner. Oh boy, I missed that place so very much....Have not visited there like 8 yrs. The last time was with Russ Hurst and pastors from Planet Shakers. Still remembered how I queued up to get when I was a teenager. : o )

my beautiful wife......

Thanks dear for the happy day......without you, it would have been meaningless....

After dinner.....Eng Wee's wedding rehearsal lor.....

Seborrhoeic dermatitis

For quite some time I was having this rash on my face and neck, I can't even remember when it started. All I could recalled was when I was suffering from my throat ulcers and after the medication, it all started.

The rash turned "red-er" 3 days ago, like sunburn. I went to see Dr Hiak at HL clinic, he concluded that the rash could be allergy to the antibiotics. Came home with some anti itch medicines. However the rash did not turn better, instead the skin started to dry and flake.

This morning went back to Dr Hiak, he diagnosed that the rash is not allergy but seborrhoeic dermatitis. Now the inflammation of the face sought of better but flaky skin still continue...

Not sure how long this will last...brothers and sisters, please pray for this condition to be healed soonest, in Jesus Name. ...otherwise birthday take photos not nice liao.....

Dimsum Delights

Supposed to let Nathan learn how to cycle at T3 bicycle at east Coast Park (the old Big Splash) but they were fully booked till next month. For information, they guaranteed student can learn to ride bicycle in 45 mins or less.

However, we did not wasted the trip; because we came upon this nice little dim sum place there. The shop name "yi tian xin yi"..Dim sum Delights.

Nice food, tasted great...at least from the dishes we ordered.

This is the bigger version of xiao long bao...need a straw to drink the juice from the bao first

Yvonne said the noodle was very nice...and the fried dumpling were tasty too...

Nathan eating the macaroni...he said the soup is good. Yvonne said the soup was those of the lighter version...yummy....

The services was prompt and friendly and the young boss is very helpful. However, the place was a little too hot for the afternoon. And the place could be quite noisy if more people there are talking at the same time....due to the "enclosed" surrounding...some carpet or fabric should help to absorb some echo....hehehe... the "lamp" in the middle of the place is also strangely out of place....

You can see the overall decoration this place in my yoyo entry earlier...hmmm the simple HK street noodles setting...with a European 'lamp'...

Yo Yo Time

Bought 2 yo-yo for Nathan today. He said I am the best dad...lol

The black yoyo is $24.90, the black yoyo $15.

Father and son trying the new yoyo....

Mom could not resist but have a hands-on

Son showing off his skills...actually he is quite good leh....

Father showing off some simple trick....

Division Mission Nite

We have this Division Mission Night every half a year. It was held in end August. Here are a few photos...

Theme of this term mission : Together in Missions

Joel Neo lead in a time of praise and worship, Amos playing the guitar....they sang songs that more mature don't really know who to sing....

Andrew who is the Division Overseer now, leading in quiz and update on the division mission.

We celebrated both Karen and Christina birthday. It happened to be Karen's actual birthday...28 Aug 2009. I actually wanted to let them off that night, but Andrew being a God fearing husband encouraged Karen to attend. They celebrated on another day....

I truly believe God will honour their faithfulness and sacrifices....

Worth or Not worth?

The SGD835,000 dog (a black Tibetan mastiff ).....

I guess to some the dog does not worth so much, but to others it was all worth it. Just like beauty is in the eyes of the beholder.

Well, you guessed it right...I am blogging it because I had it too...suffer for the last 2 days.

What a small world!

Stumbled upon this blog http://shaun-owyeong.blogspot.com/ while I was searching for information on star cruise in Google. Also read about his gf new car and how he washed his car even in midnight....keep having a feeling I have seen them somewhere....

A few Sunday ago, saw him and his gf washing his car at the washing bay of a multistory car park at my place....and Nathan was still curios about the hamster house and asking where were the hamsters....

What a small world!!! I didn't know he just stay near my place....

G Force

Upon Nathan requested, we went to watch this movie...in 3D...first time watching 3D movie...

Overall, the show was not as good, at least not meant for Singaporean kids. The jokes are pretty adult and American. Nathan did not quite enjoy it, except for 2 or 3 incidents.

The story was predictable and boring. The effects were common too....

So if you intend to watch this movie...I suggest to give it a miss...

Select one, OCBC credit card promotion
