Peak Period at Work

For the next few months, work will be at its peak. Poly applications flooding in, all the different Talks and outreach events, Open House (Life @ NTU), A level applications coming in soon and all those reports. All these will mount to busy till July/August.

Like last night Mission Night @ divisional level, I thank God I was able to rush back home to host the event. Not to mentioned sweeping and mopping the floor before members and guest arrived. Pastor Antonio (Regional Mission Director, Americas, VFC) was the surprise guest, who shared passionately regarding what mission was all about. Ended the meeting with good prayer time.

For such a wonderful night like this, it was disappointing that we had only 2 youths joining us. And their youth leaders or mentors did not even turn up. Youth being the next generation, the next possible invincible forces to be in the mission field, was greatly neglected. One leader is busy with study(school term ends today), one is out with family, one working overtime, one…for whatever reason or excuses….

I was deeply sadden…

Lord rekindle the fire, set the youth group in E9 ablaze for your heart beats.

Finally, Dell Laptop

Finally, we bought a Dell laptop for our home used. Yvonne gave in to me and bought a laptop instead of a desktop.

hahaha........thanks dear............

We can now update our blog more regularly.

Back from Indonesia, Yogyakarta

I didnt bring my digital cam, so i didn't take any pic....such a waste...cos got so much interesting places and things to take.

Firstly, we have this Mt Merapi, meaning "Mountain of Fire". Its a live volcano. Good thing we are quite far from it.

Than we have the horse carts on the street, the building(housing), the paddy fields, the people, the hotel the art carfts. And not to mentioned the "strong wind" I saw from my hotel room. It looks like tornado.

Beside that I had a chance to share the gosepl to one chinese national seating beside me on return trip. He sat next to me on the plane. He was performing at Jakarta and stopping over Singapore for leisure. Of course, beside sharing Christ I also introduced Singapore to him; like Sentosa, Little India and some local food.

In the Midst of Storm

“You will be better equipped to handle trials that come your way if you are well rested.” - Dan Wiillis

When we are overwhelmed, we must guard against complete exhaustion creeping up on us, or we are only asking for trouble. I know it may sound simple, but taking time off and sometimes just getting a good night’s sleep goes a long way during those times we are in trials. Get a good night sleep, than determine that when we get up, we are going to trust God about our situation. And today we are going to have fun!!!

“Don’t look to the bigness of your need, look to the bigness of your God. Our circumstances are often hindrances to seeing God’s ability.” Morris Cerullo
