Read this statement somewhere written by a church member......
" ....today's sermon was so good! Cultural mandate for us to associate ourselves with pop culture. Like advertising.....and also fashion and so on and so forth ..........."
Wonder what it meant by "cultural mandate", "associate with pop culture", etc. Was trying to go to the church website to see if I can get hold of the whole sermon.....but can't find it.....

Beats me...what's cultural mandate? What does it and pop stuff got to do with christian walk? If he/she is talking about using pop to impact life, I wonder why his or her pastor zero in on these showbiz stuff when the huge majority of people come from many different background. Pop is only one small aspect of life.
