Fire Burn, Burnt It Deep

I guessed I was a little "depressed" after hearing Ps sermon last Sunday at the evening service. I spent a few days pondering why....? Memories of the past came to my mind....the "glory" days of the church, how we moved the roof of the building by manpower, how we had crusades like every weeks, how we saw hundreds of people coming to Jesus.....

So how did we loose it? I believe it was when we decided that we can do all things by ourselves...it was when we no longer depend on the Holy Spirit.....when we said we had seen it all, been thru it all, what else is too difficult for me.....and day by day....we drifted, drifted, drifted away from the presence of God, His anointing....We forgot that Christ died on the cross for all........His love........His grace......

Oh God, help me to come back to You each day, fill me with your Spirit, anew and afresh each day. Never never let me depart from Your presence and Your love, You Grace. Help me to know, nothing is too difficult for me, only when You are with me....

Sunday Evening Service

Was at evening service last Sunday…hmm..was it snowing outside? I was there manning the sign up counter for the 30th Anniversary Dinner….hahaha..that’s explained…

Ps preached on the “used to be” distinctiveness of the church, and we should get back to excel in them. However, he did not mentioned how we lost it, and how we should gain it back.
I am pondering, should all these be the issues of heart rather than a methodology. E.g. the idea of setting up places for worship training is great, but is this the real problem? Did we “lost it” because the worship team lacks training, or ….

Actually, I felt rather discourage after the service……strange to attend a service and get discourage….shouldn’t I get at least excited or motivated?

Harry - the sewing kind

Harry showed us his masterpiece last night at the care group....



He had this cut at his left feet. Doctor gave him some cream but it didn't get any better. So he took a black string and needle and sewed it himself. And he said proudly, " I also used super glue to make sure the flesh stick together".

We insisted he must go see a doctor!

Tonight Care Group

Hmm...tonight care group should be a quiet one, Oliver and Kenny can't make it. So left me, uncle Harry, ew, chee leong and maybe Alpha.............

After Andrew left for Qatar, I temporarily taken over the group till Nov. Ew will take over after that. Giving him sometimes to adjust to his new phase of life.....working.....hahaha...not marriage lah....

As for me, been going for prayer meeting again after a long long break.........will tell you people more next time.....uncle Harry is here liao..........
